Morning |
The official
award ceremony takes place in the concert hall for the 21st century, the
Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, which is located in the newly developed
area to the North of Amsterdam overlooking the IJ which is the
connecting waterway to the North Sea. This state-of-the-art concert hall
opened in 2005. We have invited a key-note speaker who will present us
with a thought-provoking speech on the cultural history of Europe. |
| Afternoon | After a trip by boat through the harbour with a lunch on board you are free to spend the afternoon at your leisure | |

The
Gala Dinner will take place in the famous former City Council Hall, which is
now part of the well known hotel The Grand, situated in of the oldest
part of Amsterdam.![]() |

Sunday
morning will be spent at the newly redesigned Stadsarchief (City
Archives) De Bazel, built between 1919 and 1926. These archives display
the vibrating history of Amsterdam and its citizens. |
